MAN’S NARROW ESCAPE IN LANDSLIDE.

A land slide of sixty acres damaged the Rue Elver for about thirty chains. About sixty sheep and seven cattle were hurled under the sudden fall of earth, while a fa ra hand named Claude Gordon was caught in the slide and had a narrow escape.
