AN ADVENTUROUS VOYAGE

Mr Robert Kermode, of'Melbourne and a companion, have completed preparations for setting out on an adventurous trip toi Australia is a sailing boat named The TTnlainl Aussie. - The boat was handed over to them on the East Coast of Scotland, ftLm where; they sail by canals, the Firth of Forth, and) the River Clyde to the Irish Sea. They are now at Manchester, luting out for the long trip. The first stage was without incident except for a night spent on a mudbanlc, from which the returning tide floated them off. 'Hie first call will probably be at Rq scoff, Brittany and then the,, voyagers will call at Corunna, Lisbon, the Azores and America. They will proceed to A us-, tralia via the Panama Canal.
