MA LON Er—LINEHAN. ■■■ ■ y A pretty wedding was celebrated in St. John the (Baptist’s Chuich, Kiliikihi, on Wednesday morning, when Mary Eileen, only daughter of Ml’ and Mrs J. P. Linehan, of “Hilldon”, Te Awamutu, was united in the bonds of holy matrimony with John Joseph, fourth son of Mrs A. and the late’ 'Jiff Malone, of O’Vmiea, Taranaki. Father Zanna, (late of Kihikibl.. mft now of Rotorua) officiated . and ithe church was artistically decorated by friends of the bride. The bride, who entered the church on the arm of her father, looked winsome in her gown: of pale pink georgette. She wore the orthodox veil <'f Hand embroider* Brussels net with a coronet of orange blossom, and carried a shower bouquet of flowers to tone. She iwas attended by Miss M. Malone (niece of the bridegroom) who was attired ip a sweet frock of maize crepe-de-cbine, and Miss E. Morrow, whose frock was of eau.de-nil crepe de chine.. Both bridesmaids wore coloured ribbonsj andi tulle mob caps’ which gave their frocks a charming effect and toned handsomely with the bride’s gown. The groom was attends*! by his brother, Mr M.
