Mr. K. G. Wilson of the local, stuff of the National Bank, has been transferred to Wellington and leaves for Wellington to-morrow. :

Ab Saturday’s meeting of the Taranaki Bonding Centre, the chairman, Mr E. Dingle referred to the loss to Taranaki bowling through the removal from Taranaki, of Mf K. Bary Mr Dingle said that Mr Bary had been a valuable member ~of the executive for many years, and all bowlers would mists Mr .Bary, both as a bowler and a man.
The death occurred at the Stratford 1 Hospital last night, of Mr Thomas Blair, one of the oldest a<Q most respected residents of Climie Road, Ngaere, at the (age of 66. The late Mr Blair was closely connected with the history of the district, having kept a private school in Stratford .in. the very early days. A wide ciicle of friends will extend sympathy to \lrs Blair and other members of the family. The funeral will leave Holy Trinity Church at 2 p.m. to-morrow for KopuaiDma. Cemetery. ' ( :
