Ub going home to lunch the diminutive scholir was .asked by her i ntlier to whom she handed tiic bouquet.
“Oh, to the lady in the white stockings,” was the reply.
This was partially correct, as .ho little, lady mistook the captain in his kilts for Her Excellency.—Napier Telegraph.
