CLEARING SALE
CLEARING SALES, v The Farmers’ Co-op. report a successful clearing sale on account of Mr D. Kemp, T e Wera. Ninety dairy cows were submitted, and realised an average of £9, the highest price being £l4. A 5-year gelding realised £37 10s, an aged pedigree mare £3O 10s, the Clydesdale stallion Sir Wallie £37, 3-yea‘i unbroken gelding £27, and 2-year fillies £ls and £l6.
The same firm submitted 45 cows at the sale held on account of Mrs Bradford, Toko. The herd averaged £8 5s and the highest price realised was £l4. An aged gilding sold at £2B 10s.
Teh N.Z. Loan and Mercantile Agency Co.. Ltd., report having submitted about 70 cows at the sale held on account of Mr C. Lamplough, at the farm, Toko. The herd averaged £9 12s, the highest price being £l4 10s. Springing heifers i j l'-'lcl from £6 15s to £lO 10s, and yearling heifers at £3 7S 6d.
