Abbott's care, and the Waitara owner-trainer is hopeful of him coming on again. * * * Whenuanui is to be given a lengthy spell on his owner's property at Urenui. * * * At Ellerslie last Tuesday, Corinax and Piet went off together from the new mile post and they were joined at the five furlongs post by The Thorn. They ran the first half mile in 52 2-5, Piet dropping out at this stage.
