Comment has been published by sporting writers in various papers on the ommission of two winners and a pi iced horse from the liawera _ acceptances telegraphed on Friday, May H. In some cases the Press Association has been accused of negligence. Actually it was not responsible for any of the errors. Xu one rase the horse was omitted from the list supplied by the club, and in the other two the names were dropped in transmission by the telegraph operator.
