DEFAULTING HUSBANDS

The Glasgow Parish Council is endeavouring to trace six hundred husbands and fathers who have gone abroad, mostly to the Dominions, and as a result 570 wives and over a thousand children have to be maintained by the Parish at a cost of £7OO a week.
