KING'S THEATRE. ''WILD WILD SUSAN.'' Susan's brother thought an easy way to make money would be to take out a life insurance on Susan. She was always getting into scrapes and escapades for the thirill and fun of the thing and sooner or later she would provide the last thrill and he would be rich. But he had reckoned without Susan or cither he had not. heard of the saying "The Devil takes care of his own." Sec "Wild Wild Susan," because it. would spoil Vhe fun to tell you what happened. CONCERT LAST NIGHT. An entertainment at, St. Andrew's Hall last evening by Mr Edmonuson's concert party was greatly enjoyed By a fairly large audience. Mr Edmondson explained that owing to absence from town and the prevailing colds, his party had been reduced by four. Nevertheless, a bright and varied programme was submitted. The items, "M v Ain Wee Hoose," and "Regular Royal Queen,'' by tins quartette (Misses McCormack and Smith and; Messrs Taylor and Oilliver) were heartily appreciated, also 'Miss Cook's amusing monologues. ;Mvs Rowers, recitations pleased the audience as" did a cornet duet, ''Larboard Watch," by Masters Gi'acia j and lriglis. Vigorous applause was accorded to' Miss Smith. Miss McCormack and Mr Gilliver. who contributed two numbers' each., Mr Taylor sang; "Less Than the Dust" and later in the evening gave a spirited rendering of "Waiata Pot," and as an encore, "Eiddle and I." Mr Edmondson and Miss Smith contributed a vocal duet. The .accompaniments were played by Miss Cook and Mr ; Edmondson.
