The Hospital Board was advised today by the Public Trustee that it is the residuary legatee in the estate of the late James Kirkby, formerly a Palmerston North resident, who died in Wellington in March. The assets in the estate, which is subject to the widow’s life interest, exceed £SOOO. ' , Other bequests are £IOOO ;to the institute for the Blind at Auckland, £K)00 to the Baptist Church Orphanage .at Manurewa. and £SOO eac]rto the Methodist Orphanages at Chxmchurch and Auckland. .
