(Contributed.) Tiler© was a good attendance of lieform supporters at the meeting held in the Medina Tea Rooms last night. On motion of the chairman (Mr W. L. Kennedy) the following resolution was carried: “That this meeting of supporters of the Reform Party desire to express deep sympathy • with the Rt. Hon. W. P. Massey in the distressing period of sickness he is passing through and trust that ho may speedily be restored to his usual good health to lead the Reform Party and Government for many years to come.” The organiser, Mr D. Hebenton, addressed the meeting. He stated that seventeen branches of lh© Reform League had been formed in the Strat- I ford Electorate with strong commit- I tees in each centre. The supporters were evincing keen enthusiasm in the work of organisation and he was sure results would he obtained at the next election.'', Delegates had been elected at the various centres and Stratford was entitled io 1G delegates to the Conference at which the Reform candidate would be selected. On behalf of the Party he thanked all who had don© such splendid work for the Reform. candidate and asked for their hearty co-operation at the coining hpTy't’"- si delegates were erected and several of those who were not already members joined the League. A vote of thanks to the organiser for his work in the electorate was carried by. acclamation and a similar compliment was paid to the chairman.
