WEDDING

REID—RICHMOND

A quiet wedding was solemnised at the Methodist Church, Wharehuia, on 26th March, by the Rev. J. W. McKenzic, when in tin presence of a number of friends. Mrs E. A. Richmond, of "Oaklea," Beaconsfield Road, Wharehuia, was united i n the bonds of matrimony to Alexander W. Reid, of Stratford.' The bride, who was given away by Mr W. Wellington, looked charming in a pale grey costume with saxe blue plumed hat. Miss Sartori, in mole costume and hat to match, was maid of honor, and Mr W. Reid, cousin of the bridegroom, acted as best man. After the ceremony morning tea was partaken of at "Oaklea" by a number of friends. Mr and Mrs Reid left bv car for Wellington.—(Contribut erl).
