AMUSEMENTS.

THE KING'S THEATRE TO-NIGHT. There was a good attendance at the King"s Theatre last night to witness the screening of what might be termed a tip-top entertainment. The star drama "Cameron of the "Royal Mounted" was enjoyed by all. The Gazette was an exceptionally interesting one, and the comedy brought forth screams of laughter from the audience. "The Land of Tut-ankh-amen," the William Fox one-reel special, proved, to be a very interesting picture. It opened up with views of Cairo. Thence the spectator is taken on the journey up the Nile for some hundreds of miles. Many of the old ruins of ancient Egyptian civilisation are shown during the journey to the Valley of the Kings. On arrival at the tomb the spectator is shown the great amount of work which was necessary before entrance- to the tomb could be effected. Lord Alienby and the Queen of the Belgians are amongst the distinguished visitors visiting the tomb at the time of the taking of the film. This programme will be repeated to-night for "the last time. Commencing at the matinee tomorrow, "The Impossible Mrs Bellew," starring Gloria Swanson, will be screened. Other items will include another of the Torchy screams "Torchy's Double Triumph," also the latest Gazette and an educational film.
