THE SOARING PRICES.

By the simple medium of a rubber, stamp, the municipalities are creating currency, which the public cheerfully accept. The natural sequel is the trebling of the floating debt. The issue of paper money has. doubled the prices, which are now expressible in millions. Butter costs nearly two millions.
