AMUSEMENTS.
THE KING’S THEATRE. George Larkin will be seen at the King’s Theatre to-nigh* in his latest Selznick feature, ‘ The Unfortunate Sex,” a picture with a stirring, story. The supporting items include the latest Gazette, Educational and Comedy. In addition to the usual programme on Thursday night will be screened a William Fox onereel special ‘‘The Land of Tut-Ankh-Amen”, taken after the discovery of the tomb. This picture actually shows the site of the tomb and the adjacent territory rich with the ruins of ancient Egyptian civilisation. Views of the prominent visitors and members of Royalty attracted to the scene are shown in this reel. WHAREHUIA TO-WORROW. A ladies’ and a gents’ prize are offered for competition at the masquerade ball at Wharehuia to-mor-row. SALE OF WORK. The sale of work being held ln the Parish Hall on Thursday is in aid of the Mission funds.
