Mr Baldwin, leader of the British trade mission to Russia., interviewed, sqjid that through the courtesy of th© Government all information desired was given. The Soviet discussed Britain’s suggestion thoroughly, and as a. result of the visit lie was hopeful of doing trade. The Soviet wa s prepared to allow the resumption of the possession of factories, providing th© principle of sharing profits was recognised.
