AMUSEMENTS.
THE KING'S THEATRE. The large crowd at the King's on Saturday night were treated to a programme that was remarkable for comedy, much of it irresistibly amusing, and the result was very satisfactory to the great majority. "Nobody's Money" was the title of the main picture, a Paramount production featuring Jack Holt and other favourites. It is a swift love comedy, in which a safe and 20,000 dollars bulk largely towards the close, and provide situations that are at once interesting, novel, and amusing. It*ls tlie type of picture that does not lend itself readily to a short newspaper report, and must be seen to be thoroughly appreciated. Other good items on the programme included a good comedy "Faint Hearts," besides the usual list of scenics and educational films. The programme will be repeated tonight for the last time in Stratford. ELTHAM BALL TO-NIGHT. A reminder is given of the ball at Eltham this evening. BALL AT WHAREHUTA. A masquerade ball is announced to be held at Wharehuia on Wednesday. \
