WELLINGTON WOOL SALE. Per Press Association. Wellington, August 23. The last wool sale of the season was wjell attended and 3975 bales were submitted. Several parcels of fleece wool wer© in evidence, but there was not sufficient quantity to wair,rant special quotations. Crutchings constituted the bulk of the offering. There were limited orders from Japan and Bradford, while local operators were also louyers. Super crossbreds sold at ?id to Bd, but the bulk brought 6Jd to 7d, prices being lower than the May prices by a full penny.
There was a, good demand by local scourers for locks, bellies and pieces, and the same decline was recorded. The highest prices were: Menu* crutchings lOd, lambs s id to 13d, pieces and bellies 7id, locks 4|d, crutchings, half-bred 7id, super B|d, seedy and inferior sd.
