Patrons to the King’s Theatre last night were highly delighted with the programme presented, the star picture being a Selznick feature “After Midnight”, starring Conway Tearle. The picture* deals in the main with New York’s underworld. The supporting items include a short two-reel Tom Mix Western drama, which wai favourably commented upon. There was also a good comedy, the latest Gazette, and a Scenic. The above programme will be repeated again to-night for the last time. Commencing at the matinee to-mor-row, Jack Holt will appear in his latest Paramount Comedy Drama “Nobody’s Money”, Comedy drama is something new for Mr Holt. The cast includes Wanda Hawley, Julia Faye and many other favourites. MIDHIRST TO-NIGHT. A reminder is given of the plain and fancy dress ball for children and adults at Midhirst to-night.
