The Shipping Board has received an offer from San Francisco interests for four freighters, which are intended for a general cargo service between the Pacific Coast and Australian ports.
The board of commissioners will confer to-morrow, when the admiral of the Oriental line and the Pacific Mail line will bid for ten liners plying between the Pacific Coast and the Far East.
