AUSTRALIAN CHAMPIONSHIP. . | Press Association—Copyright. Adelaide, August 19. Tho open golf championship was won. by T. B. Howard (New South Wales) with a score of 301. Ham '(New Zealand) was 304. Popplewoll, who with Haui led" on the first day, finished fifth with 308. The foursomes amateur championship of Australia was won by Murdoch (New South Wales) and Oheadle (South Australia) with a score of 154, beating Whitton and Boss by three holes. Tho professionals' competition over thirty-six holop resulted: Ham (NewZealand) 161, Lefevrr© 162, Stewart 164.
