The report stated that renewals into the pool dor 1922-23 amounted to 11,650,523 bushels from 749“ growers, compared with 22,785.1 555 bushels, from 12,220 growers in the previous year. The Employers-’ Conference passed a motion urging the Federal amt State Governments to amend the existing System of arbitration, which is responsible for the overlapping of jurisdiction, and to confine the federal Court to purely federal industries, such as shipping and shearing. After condemning excessive taxation, which they state was inimical to the development' of the industry, the conference ended.
