"I call the hon. member to order," interrupted the Chairman of Committees*. "The lion member is a, new member of the House, and for tflhe information of all new members I would like to say that it is highly disorderly to make any reflection 11 . aspersions, or criticism of another member that are in any way personal. I would like him to withdraw the remark that the hon. member for Wanganui is like a parrot." (Laughtor.) "Well, ho is not like a parrot," retracted Mr Macmillan. "Th<t> Committee cannot ho trifled with in questions like thi®, said the Chairman, "and I would like the hon. member to say he withdraws the remark."
