ANNUAL MEETING. The annual meeting of suppliers of tho Pembroke Road Co-operative Dairy, Company Limited was held at Stratford on Saturday, when Mr li. A. Belcher (chairman of Directors) presided over a representative atendanee of shareholders. The ro}X)rt stated that 6102 exI>ort quality and 33 medium cheeses were manufactured during tho season. Of these 3042 crates were forwarded to cool store, weighing 503,036Tb5. Summary for seasons 1921-22 and 1922-23 (the figures for the 1921-22 season being given in parenthesis):—Lbs milk received .5,217,660 (4,864,563)? average test 4.06 (4.11); lbs of whey butter 15,379 (13.955); lbs of creamery butter 2513 (8264); cheese manufactured 250.6 tons (221.5); yield 2.67 (2.61); lbs milk te lib of cheese 9.29 (9.62); lbs butterfat for cheese manufacture 209.8 (193.3); lbs butterfat for butter manufacture 2198 (7010). The cost of manufacture per lb. of cheese for the 1922-23 season 4a s 2.078 d, as against 2.17 d for the 1921-22 season. At a subsequent meeting of directors, Mr ft. A. Belcher was re-elect-ed chairman for the ensuing year.
