U.S.A. Harvest
BELOW THE ESTIMATE. Pioss Association—Copyright, Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Received 9.20 a.m.) Now York, August 7. A despatch from Chicago says the Department of Agriculture estimated the year's crop at 793.000 bushels, which is 23,000 below the appraisement a month ago. However, last year's harvest totalled 862.000 bushels. Hie low production caused' the price to jump half a cent, to ninetyseven and arjialf cents.
