Chester Concessions

According to a telegram from Willinmstown, , Massachusetts, Henry Morgenthnu, former American Ambassador to Tirkey, addressing the Institute of Politics, asserted that Brittish interests no-vr control . the Chester concession. Mr Morgenthau, under cross-exam-ination stated his investigations of the question during his Ambassadorship convinced him that American capital originally backed the project, but the original concessions wore sold to a Canadian purchase'". Thus Admiral Chester had been used as a mere catspaw.
