The railway and postal strike ended in a most dramatic fashion. It was reported yesterday that the strikers received a cheque lot • U’O’,030 nuuks fiom the Reichhauk, which produced a stormy sconjs in the Senate, the Minister of Justice- demanding ‘the suspension of the Parliamentary 'indemnity in connection with two Senators who utere leaders of the rail way men’s syndicate. Iho latter stoutly denied‘ any knowledge of its receipt from Berlin. The report produced such an unfavorable impression that the-railway syndicate met and deckled to resume work immediately in order to convince the public of their loyalty. The postal and telegraph workers arc hJsoi resuming.
