Sir, —lt has come to my knowledge that suggestions have been made alleging that in a recent address ip Broadway, I reflected on the manner in which Mr A,,,J. Davey’s stables in Broadway are conducted. I desire to repudiate any such suggestion, and to deny that I made any statement in any way reflecting on Mr Davey. In fairness to Mr Davey and myself I desire to state that I hold Mr Davey in the highest regard, and certainly made no such suggestion.—l, am, etc., H. W. KERR,
