INFLUENZA EPIDEMIC.
TROUBLE ON THE KAITUNA. WESTPORT WATERSIDERS V/ILD. Per Press Association. Westport, Novemher 4. The Kaituna arrived yesterday. The major portion of the crew is stricken with influenza. The watersiders refused to work here, and demand ime removal of the vessel further down stream and the fumigation of the vessel. The workers also ask for anj indemnity in case of the disease spreading. There is much indignation here at the authorities allowing her to come to the wharf. One of the crew was taken to hospital. The Kaituna came from Auckland.
