MASQUERADE BALL AT MAHOE. Next Tuesday evening a plain and fancy dress will b e held in the Mahno Hall in aid of,the Red Cross ifnnds. Good prizes, are to be given for the best fancy dress, and a waltzing competition is to. be held for which prizes of gold medals have been donated. 1 MASQUERADE BALL. Tn connection with the plain and fancy dress masquerade ball in the Town Hall, Stratford, on Thursday night in aid of the Copper Trail fund, ladies who can find it convenient are requested to bring a basket of refreshments. The affair promises to be very successful, as keen interest i s being taken in it by many dancers who are preparing their costumes. Tlie use of masks also heightens the enjoyment of sueli functions, and ax it is under the auspices of the mayor and councillors every support should be given by the public. The prices ol admission are 3s .and 2s for gents and ladies respectively. MIDHIRST SCHOOL FUNDS. A concert and dance in aid of the funds of the Midhirst District' School will be held* in the Public Hall on Friday, 20th inst.
