TARANAKI CENTRE. At a meeting of the Taranaki Bowling Centre’s Executive held in the New Plymouth Club’s Pavilion on Thursday the balance sheet ot the annual tournament held in January last was presented and disclosed a satisfactory state of affairs, there being a credit balance of £ls. Accounts as presented were passed for payment. The matter of holding a Pairs Tournament at Faster was considered and it was decided to hold the function on the same lines as last year, provided sufficient inducement was forthcoming. The games will he played on the Inglewood and Stratford greens on Good Friday, Saturday, and Faster Monday. An entrance fee of 10s will be charged and entries close with the secretary, P. 0. Box 152, on Friday, March 22, at 8 p.rn. Prizes will bo awarded the winners and runners up. ROTORUA TOURNAMENT. Per Press Association. Rotorua, February 23. The Rotorua bowling tournament wherein sixty rinks had been competing, closed on Saturday. In the final, 801 l (Hamilton) heat Warren (Carlton) by 24 to 17. j J
