GREAT INTEREST IN TEE MAYORALTY. A SOCIALIST DEFEAT. (Received 7, 11.20'aim.) New York, December G. Great interest is being taken in the Mayoralty election at Los Angeles. Women are voting for the first time. Alexander Good, the Government candidate, secured a majority of 50,000 over Harriman, Socialist. Harrimau was the attorney representing the McNamaras. A drastic prohibition ordnance was defeated by a majority of two to one.
