S OVEREIGN’ VISIT ELEPHANTA ; l f-ico; , ybfUl'i A FATAL EXPLOSION. .■ London, December 6. The Sovereigns privately visited the Elephanta Caves. They started for Delhi amidst continuous cheering. The marquee which was destroyed was not at Stramiana, which is the centre of the investiture. The fire followed a rehearsal, and is attributed to a spark from a passing train.' There was an accidental fire at a shed a niile off. The explosion killed two men, but their comrades, noticing the outbreak, pscaped in safety.
