DUNEDIN ROTARIANS ENTERTAINED
Meeting Of Invercargill Club Members of the Dunedin Rotary Club were the guests of the Invercargill Rotary Club at its weekly meeting last evening. The visitors were welcomed by the president, Mr J. S. Robbie, who spoke of the value to Rotary of such inter-club visits. The welcome was acknowledged by Mr W. R. Sinclair, the president of the Dunedin club. He said that since he became a member of Rotary he had been impressed by its value in community service and by its great possibilities in promoting international friendship. The earlier part of the programme was conducted by Mr Robbie, who later handed over to the president of the Dunedin club. The visiting members of the Dunedin club were: Messrs W. R. Sinclair (president), A. W. Milburn, V. Jacobs, A. L. Cassie, R. L. Laurenson, R. Wilkinson, G. Simpson, R. Wilkie, J. H. Scoullar, R. J. Watts and V. N. Sundstrum. Qther Rotary visitors were: Messrs C. Milner (Nelson), W. Bringans, (Alexandra), N. J. Dolamore (Rotorua), A. V. Latty (Gore) and E. Sutherland (Gore). Mr H. B. Cassie, of Dunedin was also present.
