suitable. , , , INQUIRER.— The holiday becomes due on completion of each year with an employer. The worker is entitled to ordinary pay during the holiday. It he is employed for eight hours a day and five days a week at 2/6 an hour, he would be entitled to £5 a week during his holiday. The minimum wage for a bricklayer is 2/10J, plus two cost-of-living bonuses. For country work an additional one penny an hour is allowed for all time worked, provided the employer agrees with the worker, or the minimum wage plus out of pocket expenses. Provisions for country work vary, but further information can be obtained from the Bricklayers’ Award.
