DOMINIONS INFORMED ABOUT GREECE
Indication Of Dissent Not Received (8.0.W.) RUGBY, December 15. The Prime Minister, Mr Churchill, in the House of Commons, answered several questions asking whether the Dominions had been kept fully in touch with the developments in Greece. Mr Churchill said it was not physically possible to consult the Dominion Governments about every step which the fast moving development of the war made necessary. “They have, however, throughout been kept closely and continually informed of what is taking place,” said Mr Churchill. The Prime Minister added that all the great questions of policy were made manifest to the Dominions by a continued succession of telegrams, giving them a full picture of the situation. “I can rightfully say we have received from the Dominions’ Governments no indication that they dissent from the action we have been compelled to take.”
