SUGGESTED IMPROVEMENTS AT TEPID BATHS
Suggestions for improvements at the tepid baths have been made by the Southland Centre of the New Zealand Swimming Association to the Baths Committee of the City Council. These include the provision of a small teaching pool, preferably under cover, and of additional dressing and seating accommodation. The centre also wishes to erect at its own expense a club room at the baths. At the meeting of the council last night the Baths Committee reported that the suggestions had been referred to the city engineer, who would report on them in due course.
