STREAMS IN GOOD ORDER
ANGLING SEASON OPENS TOMORROW
The angling season will open tomorrow. Anglers have been busy during the last few weeks over tackle, repairing and renewing it. Most of the rivers in the province are reported to be in good order and the prospects for a successful season are said to be good. Petrol restrictions may again be expected to restrict the operations of anglers to waters close at hand. Streams reported to be in good order include the Laura, Otapiri, Dunsdale, Mimihau, Wyndham and Waimatuku. The Aparima is reported to be in fair order and should be suitable for the minnow.
