Further Extension Of Ban
(Special) WELLINGTON, Sept. 29. “In order to maintain the maximum exports of meat to Great Britain, the prohibition on the retail sales of pork has been extended for a further six months to March 31, ,1945,” said the Food and Rationing Controller, Mr J. E. Thomas. . .
The extension of the restriction is provided for in a further amendment to the Sales of Pork Restriction Order 1943, which makes it illegal to offer for sale pig meats as specified, except under an authority issued by the Food Controller.
