GOLD-DREDGING RETURNS

(P.A.) DUNEDIN, May 8. The Clutha River dredge obtained a return of 83oz for 80 hours' work. Gillespie’s Beach return was 19oz 2dwt for 104 hours.

ALLOY STEEL’S DIVIDEND

(PA.) WELLINGTON, May 8. Alloy Steel (N.Z.), Ltd., advise that a final dividend of S'/a per cent., making 7 per cent, for the year together with a bonus of 1/- a share, will be recommended by the directors at the annual meeting on May 25, payable on May 25.
