SOUTHLAND MEN IN CASUALTY LISTS
Trooper J. R. Reed, who has died of wounds in Italy, was the third son of the late Mr and Mrs J. H. Reed, of Invercargill. Before going overseas with the sth Reinforcements early in 1941 he was the auctioneer for Henderson and Company, Ltd., and on the death of his father some months ago he was appointed a director of the company. Trooper Reed served in the North African campaign.
