MAGISTRATE’S COURT
(Before Mr H. A. Price, J.P.)
Two youths, whose names were suppressed, appeared on charges of theft in the Waikaia district. They were remanded to appear before the Magistrate at Invercargill on-March 1. The youths were taken into custody near Waikaia on Monday after a search for a car which had been missing from Invercargill.
PERSONAL— Sergeant-Pilot Gordon Wylie, who has been visiting Gore on leave, was met by the Mayor (Mr W. D. Shelton) and presented with a cheque on behalf of the citizens of the town. Private Gordon Garrick was also presented with a cheque.
