AIR TRAINING CORPS

Visit Of Commandant

The commandant of the Air Training Corps for New Zealand, Wing-Com-mander G. A. Nicholls, of Wellington, last evening addressed members of the Invercargill Squadron of the corps. He dealt with the various aspects of Air Force training. The instruction which the cadets received, he said, was designed to give them a knowledge of the training that would be undertaken when they entered the Air Force. Opportunities existed in the Air Training Corps, not only for those who would become airmen, but for those who desired training in technical trades. Today Wing-Commander Nicholls will go to Gore to inspect units of the Air Training Corps.
