ANNUAL MEETING OF ARCHERY CLUB
The annual meeting of the Invercargill Archery Club was held last night, Mr F. Petrie presiding. The following officers were elected:—Patron, Mr A. Wachner; president, Mr T. Mclntosh: vice-presidents, Mrs A. Wachner and Mr C. Peddle; secretary and treasurer, Miss V. Allott; club captain, Mr A. Tinnock; deputy club captain, Mr C. Peddie; committee, Mrs J. Doake and Messrs F. Wilkie, O. Finnerty and Iteckie. It was decided that opening day should be October 17 at the club’s grounds. Arrangements for competitions for the season were left in the hands of the committee. It was decided that non-members should receive instruction and be given the use of a bow and 24 arrows for a fee of one shilling.
