BOYS’ BRIGADE ANNUAL COMPETITIONS
The annual competitions of the Southland Battalion of the Boys’ Brigade were held on Saturday. The 6th Southland Company, Gore, won the All-Round Cup, being first in drill, signalling, gymnastics and prepared speech, and second in first aid and the choir contest. The 2nd Invercargill (First Church) Company won the choir event, and the 3rd Invercargill (St. Andrew's) Company won the first aid event.
