FIRE IN WIRELESS SET.— The Invercargill Fire Brigade received a call at 5.44 p.m. yesterday to the residence of Mrs J. R. Salisbury, Dee street. A wireless set had fused and caught fire. The only damage done was to the wireless set. FIRE AT OREPUKI.— ShortIy after 9 o’clock on Sunday evening a well-known land mark, the Advocate office at Orepuki, was destroyed by fire The building was empty; it is some years since it was used as a newspaper office. The original office was burned in 1907, and this one was ready for occupation in May 1908.
