GERMAN PRISONERS IN CANADA

(Rec. 11 p.m.) OTTAWA, June 7. The Defence Minister, Mr J. L. Ralston, announced that thousands of German war prisoners had arrived in Canada in the past fortnight, including two generals and 200 other officers. It is assumed in unofficial quarters that the prisoners were taken in the Libyan campaign.
