SOLDIER CHARGED WITH MANSLAUGHTER
(P.A.)' WELLINGTON, June 8. David Waitoa, a soldier, aged 40, was remanded at Wellington till Wednesday on a charge of assaulting Hori Papa Tupe and causing bodily harm, also with unlawfully killing Maude Purcell, thereby committing manslaughter. The charges arose from incidents in Boulcott street on May 30.
