DIED OF SICKNESS DOUGAN, Private John Montague; mother, Mrs M. E. Dougan, Dunedin. O’CONNOR, Private Gerald Christopher; mother. Mrs D. O’Connor, Nelson. AIR FORCE LIST (P.A.) WELLINGTON, May 29. The following official air casualties are announced (all R.N.Z.A.F.) KILLED IN AIRCRAFT ACCIDENT DOHERTY, Sergeant Edward Charles Hibbs; father, Mr T. S. J. Doherty, Auckland. MACKAY, Pilot Officer Andrew Donald; father, Mr D. F. Mackay, Auckland. SMEATON, Sergeant Wilfred Robert; wife, Mrs H. N. Smeaton, Auckland. HUTCHINSON, Flight-Sergeant Geoffrey Douglas, of Brisbane. PREVIOUSLY REPORTED MISSING, NOW REPORTED MISSING BELIEVED KILLED KAY, Sergeant Harold, Auckland. NAVAL CASUALTY (P.A.) WELLINGTON, May 29. The following Royal New Zealand naval casualty has been officially announced:— PEARSE. Temporary Warrant Mechanician Thomas Alexander, died on active service; wife Mrs M. I. G. Pearse, Remuera, Auckland.
